Starting in 1970 the family run business established a reputation for selling Lavender Water, Classic Cologne and English Flower perfumes to the fashionable quarter of James Street, London. Nestled among the gentlemen’s clubs the originally furnished shop continues to sell high quality traditional men’s toiletries and shaving sets.

In 2002 D.R. Harris were appointed as chemists to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, an honour that was added to in 2012 when they received the Royal Warrant for Her Majesty the Queen.
